RepRap machine brought for show and tell. It's based on an older design and didn't seem to be working as well as the ones shown on the RepRap blog. For this machine, the design was converted from metric to English units/parts, and most of the parts that would be plastic (printed from another RepRap) were hand-cut from wood with a scroll saw.

RepRap control software, Java-based. I think I caught it right as a window was being popped up.
Closeup on extruder's business end. The part is being printed on a piece of anti-static foam for ease of removal. The foam was rather lumpy, which made the printed part correspondingly lumpy.
Closeup on a part being printed. This was the first print after the machine was transported (it loosened up a bit in transit), so it's not at all representative of a machine in full working order.
